I don't know what to tell you, Cheese... I don't know what you already know!  How I am supposed to tell you more?  :)

Wish List / The Root Access Wish List
« on: April 21, 2010, 10:17:51 am »
Welcome to the Root Access Wish List, this is a very simple board for features that players wish to see in the game (be it pre-release or post).

Just create a topic that starts with "I wish for <insert summary of what you want to see in the game>" and in the post provide a thorough description of the game feature and how it should work.  Then other forum goers (including us developers) can comment on the feature, critique it, refine it and if you're lucky it may be accepted!  But please don't be disheartened if the idea is rejected, after all we must steer well clear of design creep and keep the game sensible! :)

General Discussion / Introductions! \o/
« on: April 21, 2010, 10:05:08 am »
Right, every forum has one of these and I've already been pestered because we didn't have one, so without further ado I give you the introductions thread!  Naturally I'll got first...

My name is James and I'm 25 years old and I live in Bristol, UK.  I went to Cardiff University with CWolf, where I got my computer science degree.  I currently work as a software engineer writing bespoke applications for an engineering company, but hopefully that'll all change soon!  I can usually be found in IRC in #globalgamers (main network channel) and in #deadword (our channel) on the irc.globalgamers.net network chatting away whilst I'm supposed to be working ^_^

Hey Luke, thanks for registering! :D

We definitely need to start posting up some main threads like introductions and whatnot (and sticky them).  Really wish I could stop being annoying and appreciate how deadlines work :)
