Right, every forum has one of these and I've already been pestered because we didn't have one, so without further ado I give you the introductions thread! Naturally I'll got first...
My name is James and I'm 25 years old and I live in Bristol, UK. I went to Cardiff University with CWolf, where I got my computer science degree. I currently work as a software engineer writing bespoke applications for an engineering company, but hopefully that'll all change soon! I can usually be found in IRC in #globalgamers (main network channel) and in #deadword (our channel) on the irc.globalgamers.net network chatting away whilst I'm supposed to be working ^_^

My name is Richard and I'm 24 years old currently living in Cardiff, Wales, UK and working in Reading, England, UK. As Jargon mentioned I went to Cardiff University, with Pringle also, to obtain my computer science degree. I currently work as a technical software consultant for a large (read: soulless) electronic content management company by day and at Deadworld Studios by night. I love Ice Hockey and play it in Cardiff whenever I get a chance ;D.
As with Jargon I can be found in #deadworld and #globalgamers in irc.globalgamers.net network.

My names Alex, im 17 years old living in Cairns Australia (Yes, Aussie, no I dont ride a Kangaroo to school). As I just mentioned, im still in school completing grade 12. Im just some random that wandered into GlobalGamers IRC one day and made friends with CWolf, he's at +6 Cheese points atm (Can you beat him?). I like Cheese, Zombies and have a severe prejudice against midgets, i mean, Little People... Im not sure what it is, they're just so small.

Hi, I'm the one they commonly refer to as delrio The Funky Amoeba (the d is always lowercase, which has caused some grief with scholars, but it's important to have standards such as always lowercasing your whole name unless it is written in caps lock form). I reside in Colorado, USA, and am currently a third year Computing Technology student at Colorado State University. When I'm not studying (always!), I'm making music or killing time playing Pump It Up or DDR at the arcade.
I'm currently unemployed because the job market in Colorado is awful, but hopefully the chance I am getting to make music for Root Access should give me a chance to be useful and have some fun. :) Can I put this on my resume or something? :D

I am 18 years old, and am currently between schools. I normally spend my days trying to make music, and filling out an occasional job application. Anyway, I'm looking forward to working with you guys and cranking out some video game tunes. All my friends have always told me my music sounds like it should be in video games. :D

My name is Ben and I'm twenty-five, I started Computer Science in University with Richard (CWolf) and James (Jargon) - though I ended up taking a three year gap to work self employed before eventually going back to finish my course (which ended up being Computer Science with Information and Knowledge Systems - basically I dropped the programming side and did a load of consulting and business modules).
I used to play ice hockey with CWolf but nowadays my exercise consists of shaking my cane at pesky young kids! As for work - my day job is running a CCTV/Security company and I still do an odd bit of IT consultancy here and there; most of my time is spent doing house renovation but hopefully that'll be over soon.

Just kidding! I'm 22 years old and live in a littlebig place called Norwich in England. I'm waiting to start my degree in Computer Science, which will probably happen in a year, and currently I'm part time employed in a 4 star hotel here in Naaarwich.
I love swimming and working out, but I don't have much time to do either of these most of the time..

Hi, I'm Maya (there you have it Luke), I'm 35 and did NOT go to college with Jargon, CWolf and mr. Crisps although I really, really wish I had. Such tremendous fun I would have had *sigh*. Instead I studied here in Denmark, 7 wonderful semesters of Japanese which I loved but ultimately found lacking in the job opportunity area. So I took computer science at a business college for a few years and have been coding java et al. ever since.
I don't normally approve of such concepts but I consider myself the resident Deadworld Studios' groupie as long as everybody keeps their nice British accents and curse a lot on teamspeak <3
Oh and yeah, I live on irc #globalgamers just like the rest of the lads. Just follow the crumpet bread trail :)

I live in the small country across the sea from Cwolf (Belgium) and still waiting for Cwolf to drop by.
I don't have a degree in computer sience but I do have one in electronics, although I don't know jack about it anymore :).
I am a professional firefighter and I wondered into #deadworld on globalgamers because Cwolf lured me in with a goat.

I thought about hiding from the introductions thread, cause apparently sofar I'm the only person from across the big pond, in the cow-town city of Chicago.
Anyway, name's Joe. Have my fancy CS degree, spend my day at work doing a mix of IT & in-house software development, and then either go home and play video games, or maybe do a bit of work on [shameless plug] ZDaemon (http://www.zdaemon.org) - a doom source port. (Yes, Doom. That FPS that sold millions made back in 1993.) Anyway, I'm mostly just curious to watch where the DWS stuff goes, and to wish you all luck. Amuses me to see a game dev team as it's starting up. I love playing games, but decided years ago that I lack the devotion to creating them. (Which is probably why I hadn't committed any code to the zdaemon project for maybe 3 years, and just now started writing more again.)
CWolf talked me into signing up, although it didn't take much. Apparently "here's the link, go sign up" kinda worked.

I love playing games, but decided years ago that I lack the devotion to creating them. (Which is probably why I hadn't committed any code to the zdaemon project for maybe 3 years, and just now started writing more again.)
Seeing guys so dedicated and engaged in game development does have that affect on you, doesn't it? I actually went home and read bundles about AI and pathfinding just because CWolf and Jargon slapped me with a ton of links about it (and was wiser from the experience, too ^_^)

Hello all! BananaBoy here, I met the DWS guys at Uni, I was doing Physics and they were doing computing but we played ice hockey together and it was the start of a beautiful romance! ;D I just finished (ish) my PhD in Physics (characterising colloidal quantum dots for the biosciences - if you're interested) and am now working as a publishing editor for the Institute of Physics in Bristol, but still living in Cardiff with my fiancee Anna. Favourite game ever there was is probably a close run thing between Day of the Tentacle and Baldurs Gate II (Prefer the classics)!

20 year old Soldier(Sergeant, for those interested) spending my free time in front of my not-so-trusty lappy, mostly gaming.
When I'll finish with the army, I'm aiming for a future of programming, right now I only get to do some C and VB :/
I know English, Hebrew and Spanish, so I can translate stuff if needed...

Hi, Well my name is Sadicus and I am yet another ex Cardiff Student (engineering) and Ice Hockey player. BananaBoy was teaching me to skate when he told me about the ice hockey team, who would have thought that would lead to hours of informal lectures on computing. Glad to see you are now putting that knowledge to a useful purpose.
p.s. I will try and get round to looking into the game, but it has taken two weeks for me to do this, not including the 3 months since CWolf first mentioned it.

Hi. I'm Zeis. You can call me Zeis if you want, but Zeis is equally fine.
I suck at witty comments which doesn't keep me away from making them. Anywho, I studied hosting (show host/radio host/voice-actor), worked for almost 2 years at Game-TV (something like G4's Attack of the Show) which is now bankrupt, so I started an apprenticeship as a webdesigner. I can't code nor will I ever be able to, but I think I do a pretty decent job at designing.
I also have a YouTube show up and running and... I guess that's it. I'm currently 20 (turning 21 in february), been born and living ever since in Germany (Munich) and met Jarg, CWolf & the Crew on #globalgamers where I can be found as well as in #deadworld.
I think that pretty much sums it up. Hope I can make some skins for RA though! :D

Hey Everyone, I'm Inveracity, my real name is Christopher and of this writing I am 22 years old, Born and raised in Denmark.
I was invited by CWolf to #Deadworld, after having showed some interest in game development on #globalgamers. I had my doubts at first, as in; what if CWolf turned out to be a molester of young men, and indeed he turned out to be exactly that. Which was great! Many good times was had.
I currently study IT Infrastructure and IT architecture, and I'm employed as an intern in a Software Development / Hosting / IT consultancy company, where I help out designing and implementing IT Infrastructure for customers.
I make alot of music for my own amusement, none of it suitable for games though.
I've lived in Scotland for a short while, and I've therefore picked up a scottish accent, which confuses people sometimes.
Happy gamings, and congratulations on the new Mechadroids release! (released today, version 0.2.0!) Keep working hard :)
Edit:: I've since then made music for Jargon and CWolf for their Ludum Dare games, and that was truely an awesome experience, one that I hope to do again!
